I heard, about a year ago, that Norton was going to stop making software for the Mac. Suddenly Tiger comes along, which kills Virex, and then I stumble on this news today that says that Norton just came out with Norton AntiVirus 10.0 for Macintosh...
I'm not sure what to make of this. I don't really trust Symantec. Something in the back of my mind has always said that at least one of the big viruses that have hit the world was made in their labs. Whether it was just an experiment that got out, or an outright "ding", I believe that there is at least a small possibility that it has happened... |
