Talkin' bout da Mac...

Well, MacOSX Tiger just came out yesterday. I'm probably gonna go get it on Monday - I have to BU my entire system and check to see what issues there has been to make sure it won't adversely effect any programs that I use often. I usually only have to worry about this with my Windows machines, but you never know...

I've frozen the development of my "Green Theme" until checking out Tiger. I will keep the one I have developed thus far and have it ready for any of you who have 10.2-10.3.x. Tiger is 10.4, so when I update the development software the new versions may not run on 10.2-10.3.x...

A few more things that I have in the development stage:

Desktop Widget - it's really not a big deal, but it will make my life easier. The idea came from my desire to press a button and have easy access to programs I use often as well as my desire to see it all at one shot on my 17" powerbook. Anyway, the idea is that, at the widgets boot, it fills my screen; from there I can chose how many windows within that window I would like created, the size of the borders, and the ability to move the borders for each window; from there, I will be able to drag my favorite programs into the window I so choose.
When all is said and done, I will be able to click a button and within that window I will be able to see and work with my calendar, address book, mail, and finder. I can make another one for my iTunes, iPhoto, Asaph, and NoteCorder. I can make as many as I want with as many windows and programs as I want and go between them with "Apple+Tab". It would just be a way to make my life easier - when I'm done with it and have used it and debugged it for a month or so, I'll put it out there for a Beta test so you can let me know what you think about it...

Ultimate Remote - the only thing I'm gonna tell you about this one, is that it fits in the palm of your hand, will control your entire computer, and (hopefully) will have a 300 meter distance via USB 2.0. This is going to take a bit of time cause I need to find someone to work the hardware side...
