Today there was a MAC update for iDVD, iMovieHD, and iPhoto. I also found a NeoOffice update, a GIMP update, a sterMachine update, and a fancy new program called DGPUI that I'll check out and let you know about later...
I'm gonna start updating my windows machines soon - so I'll have a bunch of info for ya about the OS update and any new software/shareware/freeware updates. I have a few programs to test as well - I'll test them before letting you know what they are or where to find them cause I don't want you testing something and having it kill your computer. Of course, it's always up to you, but I will take no responsibility on what you download and try out yourself...
My Green Mac theme is giving me issues (I think). Safari keeps crashing on me and I don't know if it's the theme I have made for it or the WedDevAdditions plug-in that I installed the other day. I'm gonna try uninstalling the later and see what's up. I also just downloaded another Safari plug-in and will let you know it's name and location if it turns out to be something worth checking out...
Also found that you can get to the freeware category of VersionTracker by clicking on the section on the top=left of the page that says "Update By Category" and once on that page you can see "freeware" on the left side of the page. So it's still there boys and girls - you just have to look for it... |
