1) September 11th happens and we go ballistic. To assure that it doesn't happen again, we begin a full fledged war on terrorism. First thing on our "To Do List" is to "take out" the man who bank-rolled the attacks against us (as well as being the bank behind several other things in the works, and their organization and training).
2) We take to the hills in Afghanistan, where he and his followers have been known to "hole up". This is a crazy task from the get-go, because (and anyone who has ever been there can vouch for this), if somebody is hiding up in those mountains, you're not going to find them...
3) In the process of hunting these people, we come across intelligence which confirms our suspicions about Iraq. We take too long to act (giving him ample time to move what we were looking for when we got there) because of the volitility of the area. No one really wants to be in a conflict with Afghanistan and Iraq at the same time, especially America. It's nothing but bad news because, sitting right between the action is Iran, this is bad on many levels (especially the pocket book of the average American - think gas prices)...
3) We come to find that Iran "suddenly" has a nuclear program. No one seems to mention the trucks that went from Iraq to Iran for almost two weeks before we went in, the trucking ceased just a few days before we hit...
About the same time this is getting reported in the news, in Lebanon a "political party" called Hezbollah strong-armed their way into the "elected" Parliament. Hezbollah is a known terrorists organization with strong ties (money, supplies, troops, and training) to Iran and Syria. This story lost it's news cycle when...
4) "Suddenly" North Korea's Nuclear Program comes out. Everyone is so busy in the middle East that no one pays attention until they start testing Nukes, oh yeah, the news did actually report that the Iranians were at the testing. I find it odd that Iran and Korea "suddenly" have the very thing we were going after in Iraq. I also find it odd that they're working together on this (they have as much in common as Germany and Japan did in the 30's and 40's). But this news cycle only lasted a few days, because...
5) "Suddenly" a few incidents occur at the Southern Border of Israel (Gaza), and just a few days later similar incidents occur on the Northern Border (Lebanon). Israel, knowing it's under attack on all sides, does what we do when faced with terrorists at the gates. It attacks...
Israel knows a lot about what they are doing - the average American has no idea. Israel has been fighting this war for a few thousand years. They know the only way to peace is through superior force - it's how Israel has survived as long as it has...
Everyone knows how Israel reacts to aggression - Iran was depending on it...
6) The cowardly Hezbollah are basically using the civilian population as human shields. Imagine for a moment a man standing in a crowd who pulls out a gun and shoots a random person, and then he dissolves into the crowd and pretends to be one of them. Now, imagine the crowd is a few million people, and, about 1 of 1000 is a bad guy...
We can't knock Israel for doing what they are doing. They are not intentionally targeting civilians - as a matter of fact they are dropping flyers from planes telling civilians to stay clear of anything, or anyone, that has to do with Hezbollah...
7) As Lebanonese people are fleeing to Syria, Islamic militants (backed by Hezbollah) are attempting to take control of the Syrian government. Hezbollah is using these people as canon fodder, yet they blame Israel for the destruction of their country. Hezbollah is even killing people who are trying to flee to Syria, and Israel is getting the blame for it...
What needs to happen? These people have to get their heads out of their butt, stop believing the terrorists propaganda (Hezbollah bank-rolled news agencies), and turn on Hezbollah...

How do you fighting terrorism?
Example #1: Suicide Bombers
The people who do this do it because they want the recognition (for both themselves and their family). They are promised many things, but the thing that turns the tide (for most of them) is the promise that their family will be taken care of when they are gone. They see how the families of former Bombers live well-off, and the celebrity they receive from the action - they want that for their family.
We have recently become aware of families who have, and raise, children to be Bombers (from the day they are born they are brain washed), so that they will live well and have the respect of their community. As a matter of fact one of these people was recently elected to office in Lebanon - she raised multiple sons to be Bombers and was elected to Parliament in a country where few woman can even vote!
How do you stop Suicide Bombers? We need to do what our enemy would do - what would they do if the tables were turned? They would find out who their families are and kill them. Once those kids, who are considering it, understand that their act will kill their families (not help them), they wouldn't consider it. Family respect and blood lines cut deep over there (unlike America, family means everything over there). This would end Suicide Bombings within a few months, and reduce them to blips on the screen...

Israel is protecting its citizens, just as we would. We are staying out of it so they can do what they need to do - if we got involved it goes from "Israel defending itself" to "the U.S. imposing its will again". We need to stay away until Israel can stand on its own and feel safe - they're doing just fine without us...
We just need to keep our eyes on the flanks and make sure it stays a "fair fight".
In the meantime Iran is doing exactly what they want, and laughing about it (cause their scheming has been perfect). Every step along the way, when the "heat was on", they came up with the perfect "rope-a-dope" to distract from what they were up to...
Gotta look at the whole picture people! The man-in-charge in Iran is the same person who tells his people that the Holocaust never happened and all Jews should be wiped from the face of the earth. Like Hitler, he controls everything (including the Iranian press). While he bank-rolls Hezbollah throughout the region, he's building and training the Iranian Forces, and acquiring and testing weapons...
He got Israel to show their cards - now all he has to do is wait. If he makes his move at the right time, (like Hitler) he will be everyone's "hero". Hopefully we can stop this from happening, but we can't act alone. "World opinion" wouldn't be good, because most people don't understand the complexity of it all, most people would just think that we were imposing our will "again". The "smart ones" would say it was about oil, you're thinking too small people - look at the whole picture... |
