Operation

The MPEG Append for OS X applications can be installed in any location you choose. The applications folder is one conventional location.

To use any of the MPEG Append applications (on either OS X or OS 9) you drop one MPEG video file on the chosen application. If you are appending multiple files, drop the first file of the series on the application. Additional files must have a numeric suffix added to allow them to be located and correctly ordered.

So, if you have one file 'CookieBaker.m2v' the second file should be named 'CookieBaker.m2v.01', the third file shold be named 'CookieBaker.m2v.02' and so on.

If you have a single .m2v file, just drop it on the application.

The application will launch and present a save file dialog. Set the name and location that you want for the new file.

MPEG Append never modifies the original file. It always creates a new copy of the file, preserving your original.

Regardless of the MPEG Append variant that you are using, the rules and the capabilities are the same.
