Do you have NTSC film material destined for PAL televisions? Use DVD Film Transformer to perform automatic, reliable inverse telecine on your film-derived video. Once the frames are restored to their original progressive form you can determine how they will be presented for encoding. Output for NTSC or PAL. Output in anamorphic or full-screen aspect ratios. Different encoders work best with different input frame rates to produce progressive MPEG video, so DVD Film Transformer can produce output at 23.976, 24, 25 and 29.97 fps. When the final rate is different for the source rate, DVD Film Transformer will scale the audio to match, so that it remains in synchronization with the video. While there is a small shift in pitch, it is usually not noticeable. For cases where you just need to change the frame rate of a QuickTime movie, DVD Film Transformer now includes the application Frame Rerater to perform that task instantly.
