The final month of the semester has been busy. Life will get back to normal in about a week, when summer vacation starts. I'll still be working the day job, but hopefully I'll have time to really get some other projects done over the summer.
For the time being, updates are once again from my Media Concepts class. You'll notice the addition of a resumé on the site now. That is part of the class, as we were asked to make an HTML copy of our resumés. I wanted the finished product to be visible, and so decided to host it here.
The next addition is to the show reel. After playing around with AfterEffects last week, I made a short intro-type motion graphic using a flag, clouds, and a photo of Mark Twain. While I personally could have done without some of the elements in the pice (I think it looks fairly crowded as-is), the assignment was a "use x pieces of media and x effects" type of assignment, so here it is. Over the summer I'm hoping to make a few pieces in Motion to add up here as well.
Well, time to take a deep breath and jump back in. I still need to finish writing my mock grant proposal and shoot and edit my 3-5 minute autobiography, due on Monday and Tuesday respectively. I'll be back with regular updates after that!
