While Issues does get a lot of time in this blog, it's because it's the largest project I've taken on so far, and is currently the only project I'm working on. So, have another Issues update:
The promos have all been released as of 9:15 today. The Zeke spot, which was one of the first ones completed, was the last to be released. This is because of the nature of the promo itself. This is Zeke getting to give you his perspective on these crazy people you've been introduced to over the last two months. Wouldn't make much sense if you hadn't gotten a passing glance at them. Zeke's promo is probably my favorite, for several reasons:
1. We absolutely shatter the 4th wall, which is always fun to do.
2. The color and angle of the shots is well done, and Noah's delivery is spot on.
3. It's the first of many times you'll see the characters making fun of each other.
With the Zeke spot out, our trailer is due to be released on Friday. Director Scott Napolitano and co-creator Joey Harris are working with our composer to finalize the music for it. As long as I have that audio by Friday night, you'll have your trailer on schedule. After the trailer, we'll start rolling out the actual episodes on a biweekly basis (every other week). The first episode is due to go live on January 7th, and we'll be releasing every other Wednesday up to and including April Fool's Day.
Rough edits are being completed now and will be completely done by the end of January. Which leaves me plenty of time for finessing and fine-tuning the final edits. (Don't forget, I'll be working through all this at the store, and grad. school classes start Jan. 26th.) So my goal is essentially to get the rough edits done so I can spend the majority of my time really adjusting the color, the sound, and the fine cuts to really make each episode the best it can be. It makes me happy to see us so close to the actual episodes coming out. Major news due out soon, so keep an eye out!
