Well, while I wait for the details that will let me start on the autobiography, I decided to post a couple other videos to the reel instead. The first is the PSA we'll be airing to help raise money for Season 2 of Issues. The other is a photo-documentary slideshow I did some time ago for my production class this semester. (Well, guess I should say I did the first version some time ago. I hated it, so went out and reshot it today.)
The Greenway project is really the first time I've done any kind of photo-documentary. I actually really enjoyed it. I took 60 images total, but pared it down to the 22 I felt were the strongest. The Greenway is actually something of a winding park through my town of Somerville. We have a small brook that cuts through our town, and at some point, the township decided to set up park space all along the brook. The portion I documented is right next door to my apartment complex. I'll revisit the site in the late spring or early summer to do a comparison between the two. I'll try to make the next visit sunnier. It was a bit overcast today. At least it kept the lighting even and eliminated any problem I would have had with shadows.
I'll probably post more photo-docs like this periodically. It's very relaxing to head out with just the camera and my MP3 player for company and snap pictures for an hour. I'm considering Somerville's Main Street and the Somerset Patriots stadium as potential future candidates.
