"In the Life" TV will next air in Pittsburgh on Fri, March 2, at 10 PM


In the Life, the gay and lesbian TV news magazine, is scheduled to air on Friday, March 2, at 10 PM on WQED TV (channel 13). The show is titled "Leading Ladies" and will be hosted by Martina Navratilova.

This episode of In the Life honors Women's History Month by highlighting the lives of some special women. It includes "An Artistic Rebel" about ex-patriot painter Romaine Brooks; "Making Herstory" about the caretakers of the Lesbian Herstory Archives in Brooklyn; "The Lesbian Cartoon Artist" about Alison Bechdel; "The L Word" about the show's creator and cast; "Polar Pioneers" about Antarctica explorers Ann Bancraft and Liv Amesen; and "Sehakia" about four lesbians who struggle with their Muslim faith.
