NJ Supreme Court decision on same-sex marriage expected at 3:00 pm


According to the New Jersey Judiciary web site, the NJ Supreme Court is expected to issue a ruling in the case of Mark Lewis, et al. v. Gwendolyn L. Harris, et al. this afternoon at 3:00 p.m. The ruling is expected to answer the question of whether the NJ Constitution requires the State to allow same-sex couples to marry.

Lambda Legal will hold a press conference at 5:00 p.m. after the ruling is handed down. Lambda's Marriage Project Director, David Buckel, argued the case at the NJ Supreme Court.
