"In the Life" TV will air in Pittsburgh on Fri, August 4, at 10 PM


In the Life, the gay and lesbian TV news magazine, is scheduled to air Friday at 10 PM on WQED TV (channel 13). This month's show is titled "Pieces of History" and will be hosted by Cherry Jones.

This episode of In the Life includes "Gay Pioneers", about the beginning of the gay rights movement; "Polar Pioneers", about two women explorers of Antarctica; "Making Herstory", about an archive of lesbian history; "A Friend & Hero", about the priest Mychal Judge; and "Art in the Age of AIDS".
