Berkeley will ask voters if Bush and Cheney should be impeached

Berkeley, CA, will put a referendum on the Nov. 7 ballot asking the voters to decide whether President Bush and Vice President Cheney should be impeached.

Dozens of city governments have already passed resolutions calling for impeachment, but this will be the first time voters will be asked to decide.

The San Francisco Chronicle reported that the resolution to put the question on the ballot was passed unanimously by the City Council with overwhelming support from Berkeley residents.
