Excellent post-Rita images of Port Arthur available from NOAA 


High quality aerial images of storm damaged Port Arthur and nearby communities are available at a National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) web site: Hurricane Rita Images. 

Use the major highway indications on the overview map to guess which image rectangle to select to view the location you are interested in. The individual images are huge. You will have to scroll around in them if you are looking for a particular location. I didn't have much trouble finding the image containing my dad's house in Port Arthur and seeing that it had escaped serious damage. Some places, such as Nederland, are not yet covered by the images.
