FEMA making progress in Jefferson County — very slowly 


The Beaumont Enterprise reported that some electric generators were being released from Ford Park on Tuesday, but the process is still very slow. 

Jefferson County Judge Carl Griffith said the county submitted information about the type of generators they needed the night the storm began and the problem "was the sluggish bureaucracy and inadequate distribution."
