County officials are blocking installation of low-power radio station at Astrodome 


Amy Goodman reported on Democracy Now this morning that "county officials in Houston, Texas, are blocking plans for a low power FM radio station to be set up at the Astrodome to service hurricane survivors." 

Democracy Now reported yesterday that relief volunteers and the Prometheus Radio Project have received an FCC license and permission of the City of Houston to install a 30-watt low-power radio station in the Astrodome.
