If you want to gain less weight, eat vegetarian

Data from the European Prospective Investigation into Cancer and Nutrition, based on a study of the eating habits of 22,000 people over five years, found that while they all put on weight, "meat eaters who changed to a vegetarian or vegan diet gained the least," according to Reuters.

Professor Tim Key said, "Contrary to current popular views [...] we found that the lowest weight gain came in people with high intake of carbohydrates and low intake of protein."
