Two lesbians and a sexist homophobe in a restaurant in
Pittsburgh
This is a story about two lesbians who performed
for a homophobic, sexist asshole for money.
I was having a late night snack at a local
restaurant in the Squirrel Hill neighborhood of Pittsburgh. It was a hot night,
I don't have air conditioning and I was seeking some relief from the heat in my
apartment. The bars had closed shortly before. There were booths on either side
of me and in the one I was facing were two big guys who seemed to have just come
from an evening of drinking. One (I'll refer to him as Mr. Money) had a little
trouble making up his mind what he wanted to drink. After the waiter took his
order and started walking away, I heard Mr. Money say to his friend, "Fucking
faggot."
They had a clear view of
people entering the place. Two young women (lesbians) and a gay guy entered.
The women were being very affectionate with each other and this caught the
attention of Mr. Money, who was talking to his friend so that everyone around
could hear him. The three were seated in the booth behind me. As the waiter
was taking their order, Mr. Money offered the two women $10 to let him watch
them kiss. That caused surprise and discussion at the table behind me. He
repeated the offer several times before they finally agreed. I was shocked that
they did it, but all these people were strangers to me; I stayed out of
it.
After the kiss Mr. Money asked the
lesbians if they had ever had sex with men. They both said "No." He made it
clear that that's what he thought they needed. He returned to his table. As
the waiter was delivering his food, Mr. Money made the two women another
financial offer. He offered them $4000 to let him watch them have sex. That
caused even more surprise and more discussion at the table behind me, during
which the offer was repeated several times. They declined the offer and told
him what they did in bed was
private.
After the two drunk guys left,
I turned around and said I didn't think they should have agreed to let him watch
them kiss. The gay guy said the $10 paid for their food. I didn't say anything
more to them. I view them letting Mr. Money watch them kiss for $10 as
no different in
principle to letting Mr. Money watch them have
sex for $4000.
Mr. Money doesn't like
gay people. He thinks two women having sex for their own pleasure is unnatural
and wrong. He said so. I'm sure he thinks the same about two women kissing for
their own pleasure. He also thinks that two women having sex or kissing for the
titillation of a male is okay; he was willing to pay for it. I hope those
lesbians and their gay friend went home and thought about
that.
