This site is my attempt at a digital storytelling experiment, playing with aspects of modularity, randomization, and interactivity.

First, make sure your monitor resolution is set to 1024x768.

Then, link to the Interactive page, where you will see a sentence or two from my short story "Parchment." The text will be distorted to varying degrees. To read the text, place your cursor over the image, and it will come into focus.

There are a total of 107 excerpts, which appear over thematic images that relate to different sections in the story.

Click the "Advance to next section" link above the image to advance the story. The excerpts will appear in random order, and they will repeat. The order is not set; the story will be assembled differently every time you view it.
