"Happy New Year -- now die"
It appears some people believe it is important
to celebrate the beginning of a new year by attempting to kill oneself and
others, with firearms or motor vehicles or whatever is at
hand.
I figure if I keep my head on
a swivel, I can dodge the "drive-fast-into-the-crowd" types, but I don't think I
can dodge a bullet, so for me, it's stay inside on that night.
