It’s only fair, given how much I ripped on Apple’s “Panther” incarnation of Mac OS X this summer, to point out that I haven’t experienced any system crashes since May 11th of this year. That’s over six months of smooth sailing.

The funny thing is, I don’t know what I did different or indeed what Apple did differently. Maybe one of the minor patches to Apple? Or because my Firewire ports have been dead for months and so I’ve been unable to update my iPod? Either way, my box is stable and solid, knock on plastic.
