2005 Rainfall Total 



Here at our house, 2005 turned out to be a pretty wet year (by Las Vegas standards). We measured 9.02 inches of precipitation during the year. I have a fairly accurate rain gauge mounted on the fence in the back yard. The only problem with it is that I have to remember to go outside to check it and Nancy is very reluctant to go out on a rainy night to check it for me when I am out of town. Anyway, in 2004 we got 7.88. Interesting weather here at the house included 1 inch of snow on January 7, 2005, nine consecutive rainy days in February, and 2.07 inches of rain on October 18, 2005.
