Warm Christmas
The last week has been pretty warm with highs in
the mid-60s. You can tell it is Christmas in Las Vegas because the leaves are
starting to really fall from the trees. I did get a pretty good taste of winter
when I was in Baker Nevada last week and woke up to 4° and did some outside
work in Snake and Tule Valleys when it was in the high single digits and teens.
Ah, nothing says winter like the snot freezing in your
nose.
From the
NWS:
Record high minimum temperature at
Las Vegas...
The minimum temperature
Friday... December 23rd at mccarran Airport
in Las Vegas Nevada... only dipped to 47
degrees. This broke the
previous record high
minimum temperature of 44 degrees set in 2003.
