Very nice weather today
Wow. Last week it peaked at 117° and today
we awoke to thunder (and a Nevada Power crew noisily restoring the power at 5:00
a.m. right outside our house). Late morning we took a walk in a very light rain
while enjoying the remarkable 74° temperature. The monsoons are here and it
is great. I would rather deal with a little humidity than anything over
110°. Here at the house we got 0.30 inches of rain (mostly in the early
morning) and that brings our yearly total up to 6.07 inches.
