Backup Strategy 



I've said it before, and I'll say it again. Back up your stuff. Here are the rules:
 
• Don’t use proprietary file formats. 
• Don’t erase anything. 
• Store everything twice. 
• Do occasional ad-hoc and regular full backups.

This is from a great article by some dude who works at Sun. Trust him. Oh, yeah, he drops the f-bomb in his article which means he's for real. Trust him.
