The "Music" of Three Cows Jamming

Three Cows Jamming was first formed in 1986 by Bowling Green High School students Bryn Pounds and David Simmons, who thought making some recordings might be more fun than watching paint dry (The normal pastime in Bowling Green, Kentucky.) The vocals and instrumentals of Rich Gray and Kevin Cox were later added to the group. They continued to record throughout high school and part of college, breaking up when it was finally realized there WAS something better out there, namely women. Out of the four, Rich and David are clergy, and Bryn and Kevin and engineers. (Ok, so you'll never go to church, cross a bridge, or boot up a computer for the rest of your life....)

The two tracks featured here are "Asparagus" and "Yeah, Bass!", both later examples of 3CJ. Asparagus "features" the vocals of David, and is considered a "sell out" to the vegetable industry. "Yeah, Bass!" features the vocals of Kevin Cox, and is a biting commentary on the mall cruising scene in South Central KY. Well, it bites anyhow...

If you wish more information or want to hear more tracks, you are obviously insane and a VERY silly person.
