Racism group says $10K not enough to combat problem
"A committee given $10,000 to improve race relations in Boulder says it needs more money to accomplish its goals and suggests the city develop an anti-hate hot line and a legal advocacy fund for victims. The group, Community United Against Hate, will make its recommendations to the Boulder Human Relations Commission at a public meeting tonight. The committee is examining ways to combat racism, as well as homophobia, anti-Semitism and violence against women..."
I couldn't make this stuff up. Would 50K do? 100K? a million? a billion? How would you know if the money was enough and you were successful? |
