I am a licensed Clinical and Behavioral Psychologist, in
private practice in Kaneohe, and an Adjunct Professor at
Hawaii Pacific University. I also teach online for Ryokan College, California.
I work with children, teens, and adults--providing individual, family, couple/marriage, play, and art therapy, as well as
diagnostic evaluations.
My primary interests are in treating emotional problems (such as, depression and anxiety), behavior problems, and relationship issues. I also facilitate personal growth and adjustment to life changes (such as marriage, divorce, remarriage, and blended families).
My services are tailored to your needs. I employ an individualized, collaborative, problem-solving approach. I have a dual-Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and Behavioral Psychology from the University of Hawaii, at Manoa and a Master's Degree in Social Psychology from the University of Bombay, India.
I have been in private practice as a Psychologist since 1998 and have additional experience as a Therapist or Psychologist in various settings since 1987.
I have taught, conducted research, and published in the field of Clinical Psychology.
My Master's thesis investigated the relationship between Self-Concept and Social Behavior.
My Doctoral dissertation was a pioneering study of the relationship between Personality Subtypes and Depression.
Born in Kent, England, I grew up in Mumbai (Bombay), India. I have lived in Hawaii since 1985. I live and work in Kaneohe, Hawaii.
