I am a licensed
Clinical and Behavioral Psychologist in private practice in Kaneohe, HI
and an Adjunct Professor at Hawaii Pacific University. I
help children (age 4 & up), teens, and adults, providing individual,
family, couple/marriage, and play therapy as well as diagnostic
evaluations. My specialty is treating emotional problems (such as stress,
depression, anxiety, and anger), correcting behavior problems, improving
parenting, and counseling couples. I also facilitate adjustment to
changes such as marriage, divorce, and blending of families.
Utilizing an individualized, collaborative,
problem-solving approach, I provide Cognitive-Behavior Therapy tailored
to your needs. Together, we resolve issues from the past; change present
thoughts, feelings, and behaviors; and, work toward your goals. Please

A graduate of the University of Hawaii, at
Manoa, I have a dual Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology and
Behavioral Psychology. I also have a Master's Degree in Social
Psychology from the University of Bombay, India. I have been in private
practice as a Psychologist from February 1998 and have additional
experience as a Therapist or Psychologist since 1987.
I have taught, conducted research, and published
in the field of Clinical Psychology. My Master's thesis investigated the
relationship between Self-Concept and Social Behavior; my Doctoral
dissertation was a pioneering study of the relationship between
Personality Subtypes and Depression. As an Adjunct Professor at Hawaii
Pacific Unversity, I teach online undergraduate psychology courses.
