JOE-MENTUM?

HANGIN' WITH JOE IN N.H.

NEARING THE END?
I got to take a much needed break from Rowland gate and spent the day up in New Hampshire with Joe Lieberman. CT Joe will not win New Hampshire, if he finishes 4th I'd be surprised. He promises no matter where he finishes he will soldier on to the Southern and and Southeastern primaries. But unless something really, really big happens, I think we'll be seeing more of CT Joe back in CT.

If all goes as planned and the guv doesn't resign or get indicted, I'll be in New Hampshire primary night. It should be interesting. By the way, where is my friend who was talking all of that smack about Howard Dean?

ON THE REBOUND?

AFTER THE GORE "DIS" MONEY COMES POURING IN FOR CT JOE

Well, well, well. Joe Lieberman is getting a slight sympathy bounce after being snubbed by his former running mate: http://www.zwire.com/site/news.cfm?BRD=1281&dept_id=31007&newsid=10646007&PAG=461&rfi=9

LOW BLOW TO CT JOE

IT WILL BE DEAN VS BUSH NEXT YEAR

It looks like that with Al Gore's endorsement of Howard Dean, the race for the White House has officially begun. I had to think about the political motives about that move for a moment. Why would Gore first step out so early and second why would he turn his back on his former running mate Joe Lieberman? After my flu medicine wore off the answer easily came to me. The Democrats have to get moving if they want to have any chance to beat President Bush. Love him or hate him Howard Dean appears to be the man for the Democrats. The sooner they get one candidate, the sooner they can rally the troops, raise money and have a shot, I say a long shot, to beat Bush.
A lot of folks are offering up news about Gore's endorsement, here is one from CBS News. http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2003/12/08/politics/main587468.shtml

Here is video of the official Gore annoucement ram-1.ram

PRESIDENTIAL INFO RERUN

I'LL POST AND YOU DECIDE PART 3

For new folks to the blog, I thought I would bring back the presidential links:

For the next year I'll search around for Presidential web sites. To kick things off here are links for all the major Democratic candidates and President George Bush. http://www.georgewbush.com/

Howard Dean http://www.deanforamerica.com/
Sen. John Edwards http://www.johnedwards2004.com/
Sen. John Kerry http://www.johnkerry.com/
Cong. Dennis Kucinich http://www.kucinich.us/
Rev. Al Sharpton http://www.al2004.org/

And here is a pretty good comprehensive political site. http://www.politics1.com/index.htm It offers a little bit of everything for every political taste. I'll certainly be adding more links. Feel free to let me know of some you like and I'll post them here.

IT'S OFFICIAL, CT JOE IS OUT OF IOWA

LIEBERMAN DECIDES TO EMPLOY RISKY STRATEGY

With campaign cash drying up, Lieberman had to do something to try and hold him over until Super Tuesday primaries on Feb. 3. A few other presidential pols have tried this campaign tactic before (including Lieberman's former presidential running mate) with varying degrees of success.
