A Bottom-Up Creed, Take 4c: Love's Dominion


Well, I think I'm converging. At least, I haven't come up with a better name (or numbering scheme :-). What do you think? They say perfection comes, not when there is nothing left to add, but when there is nothing to take away. Is there any more to take away?


I believe in Love

I believe in Truth and Justice
as integral to Love
and enabled by Love

I believe in Happiness
as experiencing Love's dominion
overflowing Truth and Justice

I believe in one God
of Truth, Justice, and Love

I believe in Jesus
manifesting God
in His life, death, and resurrection

I believe in Love's Spirit
transforming us
in His Name

I believe in Loving
God with all our heart, soul, mind and strength
one another as Jesus loves us
our neighbors as ourselves
& our enemies

I believe Evil
taints all human Love

I believe in Grace and Forgiveness
for all who submit
to the Name
of Truth, Justice, and Love

I believe in Love
that dies
yet never fails
