What God Wants Most From Me
Its been over a week since my last devotional.
Partly traveling, but mostly a restless spirit. I think I finally understand
why....
I had a very powerful time yesterday a men's
conference with Gordon Dalbey. I realize that my deepest need
is to reconnect with God as my Father. I feel like God is saying six things to
me:
Father, I:
Know that you love me
Receive your Holy Spirit
Lay my wife before thee
Raise up my church and pastor
Give myself to our work
Watch and Pray
In Jesus name, Amen.
If nothing else, i think I need to devote at least one devotional a week to relating to God, rather than simply reading (and writing) about Him. Perhaps on Sundays, to get my marching orders for the week ahead. We'll see how it works out...
