Event Horizon

aka Eric Benevides (15-year-old son of donnab, who received NO help from mom in doing his tile. Not that she didn't TRY to offer advice, mind you.)

When I first saw my 4 border tile I knew I was in for a challenge. I was new to this project and the colors were notorious.

Somehow I had to match orange, gray, green, and two shades of blue but I found a way to do it. The hardest part was the bottom right corner; black and light blue.

After a few failed attempts I finally ?linked? them by making it seem like the blue below was being drawn into a black hole. Hence, I titled it Event Horizon, a term used for the point in a black hole where the curve of space time is so strong that even light can’t escape (infinite density).

I used an iMac DV 400 with Mac OS 9.1 and Adobe Photoshop 5.5 to make the tile.
