Tile Title: Those who go

Created on G4/400 mHz with 576 mb of ram. OS 10.2.4 using Photoshop 7.

Since this is my first attempt at the Mosaic, I was really unsure of how start. So I didn't worry about the edges I would be receiving. I am influenced by more abstract styles of art such as Cubism, Futurism, Abstract Expressionism, the German Expressionist – especially Kathe Kollwitz.

I sketched a rough flag on some scratch paper and scanned it. I took another scan from an old comic book for the words and image of a machine gun. Another image was an old painting I had done and used that as the background. Also used was a picture of a band I had taken. The main idea behind the tile is the phrase "Music as a weapon". The power of music/ideas for change, hopefully for the better.
