Frontier Report Issue 1
Commander Drax has just released the first issue of the Traveller fanzine Frontier Report. This is well worth getting & has a stunning cover by Andrew Boulton. Ninety nine pages of goodies.
He obviously put a lot of hard work into this, let us hope there are many more issues to come.
It is available from his website:

More redesign & a new name
I've changed the name of the site to be a bit more ambiguous as I intend to add a lot more content for various settings other than Traveller, it's also the location of the BurrowWolf story, (thanks for the name David).
I have also changed the comments software as the old one was a bit crap as it was only visible on some browsers, of course while doing this I have managed to delete all the old comments, (oops). Sorry guys, feel free to post again, In fact everybody is welcome to comment, the more feedback the better.
Nemesis Class Pursuit Ship
I have just finished the art for the first ship book from Spica Publishing, the NEMESIS CLASS PURSUIT SHIP book details a 100 ton starship designed for use with Traveller from Mongoose Publishing.
Pursuit ships are small, fast vessels with one, simple mission - to find their prey, chase it down and bring it to justice - although that 'justice' may be meted out by a wide variety of employers from interstellar police to criminal masterminds. Nemesis includes everything needed to use the ship in your Traveller game:
The Nemesis is the ideal ship for Agents, Bounty Hunters, Space Patrol officers and Enforcers. Ideal for player characters, the Nemesis is an excellent Adventure Class starship. With aNemesis at your command you become significantly more dangerous to your enemies. With a Nemesis on your tail, you'd better start running, and fast!
Written by Michael Thomas.
Original deckplan design by Michael Thomas.
Deckplans executed by Arthur Pollard.
Cover and interior art by David Redington.
Developed from an original idea by Constantine Thomas.
Editing and interior layout by John Griffiths.
16 pages, full colour cover, black and white interior text and art.

The BurrowWolf Webcomic
I've uploaded most of the first chapter of The BurrowWolf, a Traveller based webcomic scripted by the extremely talented David Billinghurst and illustrated by myself.
Hopefully this will have regular updates when I have the time. Nine chapters have already been written so I have lots of catching up to do.
It's a great story so I hope you'll have as much fun reading it as we are doing it.
Now I also need to make time for the other webcomic, The Akhilleus too. I promise It will come eventually, too many projects, not enough time!

Another slight redesign
Just got made an Admin on www.sfrpg.org.uk which is shaping up to be a nice forum.
Plans are afoot with the BurrowWolf comic...
Akhilleus is coming along, but slowly (my fault, damn RL gets in the way).
Er, thats it.
A slight redesign
I have change the site a bit in order to de-Traveller it, there is some sorting out to be done regarding what can be used and what can't without treading on Mongoose's toes (as they have the rights to many parts of the Traveller universe). This is fair enough as a line does need to be drawn in the sand regarding fan efforts so they can be distinguishable from offficial canon material. Just thought I would play safe until the dust settles.
I am going to add another couple of sections as well: for Jovian Chronicles and Fading Suns, two more favorite universes.
The links page should soon fill up, I have been reading a lot of web comics recently, there is some great stuff out there, they will be linked.
Many Projects...
I seem to have become quite busy Traveller-wise, its all quite exiting.
The Free Trader Akhilleus comic is coming on well and we should be able to release the first few pages soon. (its going to be an epic)
I am working on some black and white illustrations for the upcoming Flynn's Guide to Robots.
I am preparing some artwork for the 2009 Traveller Charity Calender.
I am also working on a visual of nice idea of a CT interpretation of the Knights Hospitallers for a fellow CotI member.
All will be posted here at some point so please keep coming back!
I'd also like to plug the brand new shiny Traveller forum 'SFRPG' its on http://www.sfrpg.org.uk/phpBB3/
Go join, its fun!
A New Website
So I have cobbled together a new website using the excellent (so far) Sandvox instead of my normal web program iWeb. I had run an analytics program on the last one & found it gets far more visits than I thought, (grin), so this new one should load faster and be able to support far more goodies.
Seem to have a problem with the Header text defaulting back to something awful instead of Optima on some browsers which I need to fix. It's supposed to be a bit reminiscent of the early 80's stuff like The Traveller Book or the '83 Starter Edition.
Its early days so please forgive any broken bits.
Anyway the idea of this site is to have a Art resource for many aspects of Traveller and to provide a home for the various webcomic projects I want to do.
Help yourself to anything here as long as it is not for commercial use.
I would also welcome any illustration suggestions or rquests as long as it is Traveller or 2320ad related.
Thanks for visiting,
Dave.
