Where did my HRC go?



I loved the Human Rights Campaign Foundation way back in the day.

I proudly wore my HRC tank top to the gym.

I donated to them. I volunteered for them. I dumped the creepy guy I was dating who worked for NGLTF.

Now, I despise them. Because I feel the same way this guy does.

How sick is it that HRC endorses Lieberman now? Joe is a sad sick old man who doesn't see straight any more. He loves Bush and endorses destructive Bush policies. He is anti-gay and has supported harmful policies. Moreover, his opponent in the primary, Ned Lamont, support marriage equality and is a real progressive.

It's really time for Joe to go.

So why would HRC support him?

They are too much a part of what is wrong with DC - they have become part of the old DC establishment.

Very, very sad.

My cash does to Equality VIrginia now. HRC donates to them and supports some of their activities, and that is fine by me, but we will never support HRC again while they pull this crap.

It is a deep shame that Gore lost, but thank God Joe isn't veep.
