Skipping church is fun! 


Some mornings are made for you. 

I don't often skip out on church... but today I really REALLY needed to. I cannot really explain it - but I had this overwhelming need to just get up, go to the gym, and have 7 hours of daylight left to do whatever I want - I dunno if it is Seasonal Affective Disorder or what....

They finished these two HUGE houses down the street. It used to be one MASSIVE lot with a little house and a lot of cars in the yard. Now it is 2 5-bedroom 4-bath 3-story houses. They are pretty much on top of each other and have a little mini-yard. They sold for 675k each. The people gathered outside of the one that seems ready to be moved into were saying it is beautiful inside... huge master bath with sunken tub and all.... *sigh* That's what I really need.

Don't get me wrong, I love my house as it is now, post-renovation.... but these things make me think that once I become a principal I need to get the funds together to either expand UPWARDS or go buy one of these monster houses :).

My day will be consumed with leaves, brunch with Kyle and possibly a trip to the Home Depot Expo Center with Nina.... to go forth and covet more renovations........ :)
