Labor

I love holidays - get to the gym later on, low-key relaxing workout without the stress of rushing back home to get to work......

Fresh meat at the gym, or at least stale meat that you haven't seen in a while...

I've gone back on creatine and protein shakes - I went off of it for two years because I was pretty convinced that they were the source of my stomach issues - but to my surprise, they were not. My stomach got no better (my bank account did) and now that I have been using them again, it has gotten no worse. So.... we stick with it.

Plus I am feeling stronger and better, people are commenting on my body again (other than, ooooh Dan gained weight!) and I am loving my workouts again now that I am back on heavier weights. So, I will stick it out with the supplements. Aiming to look a lot more like this. Was close to it not so long ago. Gotta give up all the wine and other tasty stuff *sigh*

Once we do have a kid, how will that impact my ability to do the gym? I think that since I go ridiculously early, and Dave sleeps til I get home, that won't be an issue. And then if Dave goes in the evenings after work, I can pick child up (GREAT excuse to leave work by 5:30!), come home, set child up with movie or something low-key in the basement while I do evening cardio on our elliptical machine.... then we are golden. We may have to give up weekend gym time, but I am ok with that... as long as I get in there Mon-Fri.

The more I think about it, the more I think it works :)
