It's 5 a.m. I must be at the gym.....So I've been doin the 5 a.m. cardio very
faithfully for about 3 weeks now. It rocks. I set the coffee maker to start at
4:20, get up at 4:35, drink some coffee and hit the elliptical
trainer.
People say they can see me losing weight, but the scale still reads 210 every morning. I still fit comfortably in my 38 waist pants. *sigh* The most interesting thing is how easy it is.... I have totally shifted to being a morning person now. Mostly its because of the dreaded C-PAP machine. Yep, folks, that's right, Dan the man has Sleep Apnea. It was a long painful diagnosis. But I tell ya, using the machine is a breeze at night (no pun intended).... in fact, I am at the point where I feel weird sleeping without it, and have trouble falling asleep without it. Since I have been using it, my workouts have gotten better, my attitude at work has improved, and I no longer feel totally worn out all the darn time. I never ever was a night person. But now I am totally a morning person. Early morning cardio totally rocks. Posted: Sun - November 13, 2005 at 04:04 PM ); |

Current and recent reads:
Evan Thomas et. al. discuss the ins and outs of the campaigns of 2004 from inside them both - a fast read on the plane and made me want to scream with the accounts of missteps on the part of the Kerry team!
Currently reading Walsch's new book - it is really helping me to solidify my current angst over spiritual direction and figure out where I am going and growing. I highly recommend this as a read to everyone who wants to leap forward, or at least delve deeper into their understanding of God and our place in the universe.
