No More, poor Yorick

Isn't that the quote? Bonus points if you can name it (assuming I quoted it right) (No fair if you google....)

So at the current time I have done away with three dietary supplement/staples... no more creatine, no more protein powders, and no more ephedra or ephedra-esque drinks....

My weights went waaaaaay down. Way down enough to trigger a few things:
1. My doctor is sending me for a sleep study because I am complaining about regular fatigue.
2. I have all I can do to do cardio, so hence I bought two new suits for my fat butt this weekend (thank you bf Dave for paying for one :) ).
3. I am depressed about the gym,

Way back in the glorious 90s, I raged at the gym - it was my thing. I would go in and kick butt on 30 min of cardio and then thrash my body with 90 minutes of weights. Missing a workout was not an option. So not an option, in fact, that I would crawl outta bed at 4:30 to get to the gym when it opened if I knew I had a nighttime event that would prevent working out. I was a fabulous 31" waist and 185 pounds and *almost* had abs.

What happened to that ethic?

I started working harder at work, did the grad school thing, got hurt a few times, and got older.

Oh and the boyfriend thing so I don't feel quite so compelled to look cute :).

I gave up the supplements because:
1. I am not convinced they actually do anything.
2. They cost a whole lot of money.
3. My blood pressure was up thru the roof and I don't want to die young.... (its fine now......)

Was there a point to this? not really, other than to whine about low energy and indicate the lack of interest and belief in supplements :)
