Thank you Howard Dean



Thank you for being an anti-war voice in 2004.

Thank you for taking over the DNC and restoring the Democratic Wing of the Democratic Party.

Thank you for ignoring your critics - the DC/DLC power players who lost every election from 1994 onward, implementing your 50-state strategy and gaining us control of the House and Senate when it was seen as impossible 6 months ago.

Thank you for believing in progressive America, and not fading into the background after the establishment made the "Dean Scream" play 24/7 on every TV in the country.

Here is the best way we can all thank Howard Dean:

Many people have been wondering how to thank Gov. Dean.  His birthday is 11/17.  Please consider mobilizing and getting people to send a contribution in the amount of $20.06 to the DNC on that day. If we start now, letting everyone on our lists/blogs know about this, it could result in, not only a symbolic gesture of appreciation, but a significant amount of fundraising for the DNC. What better birthday gift could there be for Gov. Dean?
