Oriskany Lady Redskins Summer Softball Starts

OLR softball, Summer 2003 season, has started with mixed results. OLR now plays as a team in the newly formed Syracuse League - East Division. We have been joined by 8 other teams and includes a format that allows all players to hit and any pitcher to pitch as many innings as the coach wants.

OLR Swept |
| The Oriskany Lady Redskins were swept by the Rome Rucksters on the first double header. They lost the first game 8 - 0 and the second by 6 - 3. Hitting was a little anemic but contact was made and the ball put in play repeatedly. In fact it was an error made on Kayla Topi's hard grounder to short that scored our first runs. |
Practice for the Oriskany Lady Redskins is every Monday at 6:00. Pitchers need to report at 5:15 for pitching practice prior to team practice. |

OLR won its first game over Hum-u-babes, 6 - 5. Carly Lopez picked up the win and Danielle Rash picked up the save.
