While on a sabbatical leave from Salem/Keizer Public Schools:
My studies centered on Interactive Multimedia. George Beekman (author of many computer texts and books) was a major source of inspiration and direction.
With CS 391 I received a solid base in computer ethics. This was taught in the Dept. of Philosophy. "We have the technology. How do we use it?"
I helped teach (tech. portion) Mus 124 - Keyboard Harmony lab while acting as an aid to Judy Krueger.
I helped teach (tech. portion) Mus 125 while acting as an aid to Judy Krueger.
I helped teach (midi/sound portion) CS 395 Interactive Multimedia as a guest lecturer.
I helped develop the web pages for Mus 124 and Oregon State University's Multimedia Minor.
I helped produce a cross platform cd for Oregon State University's new Multimedia Minor. (I did most of the music and helped with many other chores.)
I developed and maintained the Oregon State University Music Departments pages Mus 125 and Brass & Bytes.
Second semester I was presented a Certificate of Academic Excellence (maintaining a 4.0 grade point average) by Dr. Paul Risser, President O.S.U. and Michael McCanna, Indian Education Office.
On 6-6-96 I was presented an Eagle Pin as a charter member of O.S.U.'s chapter of the National Native American Honor Society.
Yes, I share a name with Leonard Peltier, but I don't know or remember ever having met him.
Mary Rose (Peltier) Cornelius*, who does know and who has worked with him, is my aunt.
