As always there were refreshments and snacks.Ê Thanks once again to Zehr's for their kind use of their Community Room! Everyone agreed that this was one of our best meetings ever! Here are the minutes complied by Robin Jupp... ...Thanks Robin: JESSICA REYNOLDS of Autocontrol Medical , gave us an update on their Animas Insulin Pump which offers the lowest basal rate available today (.1 units) for better fine tuning especially for children.ÊThis pump is waterproof and There will be Êthe opportunity to download readings and meal intake to be introduced in the near future. Autocontrol also as a new and much shorter length canula "comfort short" infusion set. Animas provides at no charge a spare "vacation spare pump" for those traveling away on vacation as well as a library of pumping information! BILL REYNOLDS of Neuragen which is a natural geranium oil for treatment of neuropathy. This product is only distributed through a small number of health food stores and retails at $35 for approx. one month's supply. [Ed note @ 11.10.03: Some members have reported that this has somewhat reduced their neuropathy pain)! BIll also provided us with some valuable input on our group! Discussions: -the possibility if having some/all meetings at the new ZehrsÊPainswick store in south end Barrie.
