My Personal Stage Race : Stage 2 - Black Dog TT
Just a quick update before I go to bed.
This stage racing is tough stuff! Today's TT went well, but a freak thing
happened, I tied for the win with Aric Hareland! That's right, we had the same
time 14:18.0, down to the tenth! I have never tied in a bike race, so it was
pretty cool. Aric is riding well this year, I actually expected him to beat me,
so I was happy with my ride. I was hurting a little at the turn around, but
really started going good in the last few K. Casper was third with a 14:37 or
something like that. Anyway, fun times at the Dog. I don't know if I'll be able
to go to too many more since it takes so long to get there from my house, but it
was worth it tonight. Tomorrow I bust out the knobbies for Buck Hill! I didn't
think I'd get to race there again, but now it's stage 3! Hollywood hooked me up
with a sweet Liger armband. You know, half Lion, half Tiger... It's pretty much
my favorite animal...
