reading storiesPersonal myth papers were due in class Friday,
so I've begun the "assessment" process. These kids are great. Some really
great stories here. I love what happens when you ask them to be creative then
cut them loose. I've only read about half a dozen of them so far, but I'm
really enjoying myself.
Having a difficult time staying motivated
today, though. Being by myself without a well-defined structure to my day is
kind of a dangerous combination. Then I discovered that our local video store
offers a 50% discount to teachers. Yay! So I've been distracting myself with
episodes of CSI
all day.
It has been nice to be spending so much time with Meera, though. Every time I sit down, she wants to crawl into my lap and fall asleep. (Yet another distraction.) Luckily, I have a day off tomorrow, so I'll be spending most of the day reading. Posted: Sun - October 19, 2003 at 09:03 PM |
