grossly unpreparedThis was the first (and hopefully last) day
that I felt really unprepared to teach my classes. Not in a "Why is Mr. Neff
staring at us with glazed-over eyes?" sort of way. Just didn't have a plan that
really clicked for me, and nothing "came to me" during the class,
either.
The worst part was that the kids knew. Nobody said anything, but I could tell their spider-sense was tingling. They knew Mr. Neff didn't have his usual earth-shattering, mind-blowing kind of lesson plan . . . So I sat with the guilt of that all day and
resolved to not let it happen again.
