radio silenceWow. Haven't been this quiet all year. Not
sure what that's about. Obviously, feelings are running pretty high right now,
especially regarding what I put up here, so I'm sure that has something to do
with it. But I've also been quite a bit busier than
usual.
The school year is winding down, and the kids are starting to show it. Oh my God they are a handful right now. Can't say that I blame them, what with the blue skies and sunshine every day, but I don't think I counted on such a ramp-up at the end of the semester. It really shows all the holes in a classroom management system, though, doesn't it? (Making notes for next time!) And juggling has been great. Another teacher
and I do some club-passing after school some days, and we attracted another
student last week. That was fun. I've also continued going to the Berkeley
Juggling Club every Friday night. Club passing is so much more fun than
juggling by yourself, but it's HARD! And the only way to practice it is by
getting a partner and trying over and over again. (And over and over and over
again.) Maybe I'll get Corey to take some video later this summer . . .
Corey's taking me to a Giant's game tonight. That should be nice. The last game I was at was an Indian's game at Jacob's Field in Cleveland. My boss at the painting company had season tickets and he took us managers once in awhile. That was the game where I caught a baseball. I'm really interested in seeing 3Com Park. I think they have been rated as having the best vegetarian food of any baseball stadium in the country. And they recently added a Wi-Fi network (wireless web surfing) to the entire stadium. Almost tempting to bring my laptop and blog from my seat, I don't think I'm ready to go that geeky. If I had a Wi-Fi Palm Pilot, maybe . . . Anyway, that's the new stuff. Stay tuned for more . . .
