halloween photos are up

The Halloween photos are up. Take a look.

Whenever I publish a lot of photo albums, I get really frustrated with Apple's "idisk". Don't get me wrong, I totally love the technology and depend on it to publish this weblog, but I just wish it would work consistently. I often find myself needing to start over because it just hangs in the air or tells me that the connection failed. And I don't believe it's my DSL, either. The idisk process has always been slow and wishy-washy for me.

And that happens to be one of the things they <supposedly> fixed with the latest release of OS X (Panther). The idisk is now kept as a copy on your hard drive, then I guess synchronized every time you log on or something. That way I could do all of my publishing in a virtual space (thus saving lots of time while I play around to get it where I want it) then synchronize everything when I'm ready.

But, it costs $129 (or like half that for teachers) so it's going to have to wait. Bills need to come first. Actually, food and gasoline need to come first, but bills are a close second. And Panther doesn't really make the list yet.

So until then, you'll have to enjoy my publishing knowing full well that I suffered great inconveniences while doing it. (I'm sure you'll carry on somehow.)
