preparing for halloween

Corey and I did a little more work on our Halloween costumes today. I'm still not telling you what they are, but I will tell you that today's adventure involved a trip to "Stompers" boot store on Folsom Street in San Francisco.

For all of you interested, by the way, Corey's birthday is Monday (October 27th -- write it in your calendars) so I hope you'll all be thinking about him and wishing him a very happy . . . um . . . 24th birthday.

Being that his birthday happens so close to his favorite holiday, we will be celebrating on two fronts this week. Tomorrow we're doing a little road trip out to a haunted corn maze (I'm sure I'll have pictures!) and Friday night will find us, once again, roaming the Castro with all of the other crazies. I'll try to take some pictures there, but it's always big and dark and full of people, so my pictures don't usually turn out very well.

Oh . . . one more thing. I was beginning to feel all stressed out about getting papers graded and getting all of this stuff done before our road trip tomorrow, when I remembered that we gain an hour of sleep tomorrow. Yay!!!!! Oh, Joy! What better gift could I ask for?
