brian's first dayBrian got in yesterday at 5:30 am yesterday
morning. sheesh. That's just not right. We went out to breakfast, then back
to my place for naps. After meeting the dogs, of course . . .
Then we went out to the Winchester Mystery
House. This crazy old mansion built by this crazy old lady: the heiress to the
Winchester Rifle fortune. She thought that all the ghosts of the people who
were killed by Winchester rifles were after her. So a fortune teller told her
that if she kept remodeling her house, they wouldn't get her . . .
So she kept a team of carpenters building on to her house 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for thirty-eight years. Crazy lady. And the house proves it. Here's us in front of the house --
Then it was off to dinner with Corey, then Miniature Golf for all three of us:
Instead of sleeping all day today while I've been at school, we actually found something that would keep Brian busier (perish the thought!) A new PC gaming club opened up right down the street from Corey's place. Three bucks an hour to play video games with a bunch of other similar-minded people with not enough to do. (Actually it's pretty fun. I'm going to join him in a few minutes.) So I suspect Brian was well-entertained all day long. More news tomorrow. Take care. Posted: Tue - August 26, 2003 at 04:32 PM |
